New Roofs & Re-Roofing in Nottingham.
A roof is the main barrier between your house and the weather, so it should be right for the next forty years, not the next four. We strip it, check the timbers, and rebuild it properly.
New roofs & re-roofing
Whole roof replacements can be costly and sometimes uncalled for, so the first thing we do is tell you honestly whether you need one. Plenty of roofs that look tired only need a repair. When a roof really is done, we strip it back to the rafters, replace any rotten timber, lay a new breathable membrane, batten it out and re-cover it in clay tile, concrete tile or natural slate, whichever suits the house and your budget.
Most full re-roofs take a few days. Scaffold goes up, the old covering comes off, and the new roof goes on. We take photos as we go so you can see what was under there, and the site is swept every evening. The skip and the scaffold go as soon as we are finished.
We are booked up a fair way ahead for full re-roofs, often a couple of months, so if you know your roof is on borrowed time it is worth ringing sooner rather than later.

Straight answers
How long does a re-roof take?
A typical semi takes three to five days once the scaffold is up, weather allowing. We put the timings in the written estimate.
Do I need to be in?
No. We work outside the house. We keep you informed as we go and take photos of anything we find.
Is the roof guaranteed?
Yes. Every full roof we fit comes with a 25-year guarantee, in writing, on top of the manufacturer's guarantee on the tiles or slates.
Clay, concrete or slate?
It depends on the house, the pitch and what the neighbours have. We will tell you what suits and what each costs, then it is your call.
