What we do with your details.
Short version: we use them to get back to you about your roof, and for nothing else. Last updated 26 August 2026.
Who we are
This website belongs to Wayne Stephenson trading as M & S Roofing Services, a sole trader roofing business at 36 Campbell Drive, Carlton, Nottingham NG4 1RD. For anything to do with your personal information, contact Wayne on 0115 940 2395 or at mandsroofing@hotmail.co.uk.
What we collect
If you send the enquiry form we receive what you type into it: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, postcode, the best time to call, what the job is and anything else you tell us. If you ring or email us, we keep the details you give us in the same way any tradesman keeps a note of a job.
The form is sent securely over an encrypted connection and never through the page address. It has a hidden check to catch automated spam.
Why we use it
- To ring or email you back about your enquiry, arrange a visit and send you an estimate.
- To do the job, if you go ahead, and to keep a record of it afterwards (for guarantees and if you ever need us again).
- To keep our own business records, which the law requires us to hold for a period.
We do not sell your details, we do not add you to any marketing list, and we do not send newsletters.
Who else sees it
Enquiries sent through the form are delivered to us by Orchestrix, the company that builds and hosts this website for us, which stores a copy so nothing gets lost and passes it straight to our inbox. They act on our instructions and do not use your details for anything of their own. Nobody else sees your details unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If we do not end up doing a job for you, we delete your enquiry within twelve months. If we do, we keep the job record for six years, as we are required to for our accounts and so we can honour our guarantee.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not run any analytics that identify you.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Ring or email Wayne and we will sort it. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
