Fascias and soffits do two jobs. They finish the house off so it looks cared for, and they protect the edge of the roof and the timbers behind it. When they are weathered or rotten it is time to sort them.
Fascias & soffits
Timber fascias rot. It is only a matter of time, especially where the gutter has been leaking onto them. We replace them with uPVC that will not rot, warp or need painting, in white or a colour to suit the house.
Soffits matter more than people think. Without ventilation, condensation forms in the roof space and the timbers start to decay from the inside. We fit ventilated soffits so the roof can breathe, and combine it with a uPVC dry verge where the roof edge needs it.
Fascias, soffits and guttering are usually done together in one visit, because the gutter comes off to do the fascia anyway. One scaffold, one job, one bill.

Cap over or replace?
If the timber behind is sound, capping is fine and cheaper. If it is rotten, it has to come off. We check and tell you which.
What colours do you do?
White is the usual, but black, anthracite, rosewood and oak are all available to suit the windows and the house.
